What you'll learn

• Full paediatric first aid — infant and child CPR, choking response and airway management
• Manage anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions in children including auto-injector use
• Respond to paediatric medical emergencies including head injuries, fractures and burns
• Perform adult CPR and use an AED to current Resuscitation Council guidelines
• Manage an unconscious adult including airway, breathing and recovery position
• Control bleeding and treat shock in adult casualties
• Recognise and manage adult medical emergencies including heart attack, stroke, diabetes and asthma
• Manage adult fractures and apply safe moving and handling techniques
